Moona Productions is a London-based production company creating independent, formally exploratory projects. The work engages individual and shared memory through a dialogue between older and newer technologies.

Luciano Piazza

Luciano Piazza is an Argentine filmmaker and scholar based in the UK. Working across 16mm, digital media, and writing, his work explores experimental documentary, media ecologies, and cinematic form. His works explore non-traditional research approaches to filmmaking. He teaches documentary filmmaking at University College London. His films have screened internationally at venues and festivals including Viennale, BAFICI, Porto/Post/Doc, Oberhausen, Curtas Vila do Conde, Whitechapel Gallery, Anthology Film Archives, FICCI Cartagena, Morelia International Film Festival, among others. He studied filmmaking at CalArts and was the co-editor and co-curator of Ismo, Ismo, Ismo: Experimental Cinema in Latin America.

Laura Kaye

Laura is a UK based producer and director of documentaries, with a focus on the arts, particularly in music. After joining the BBC in 2006 she worked on documentaries such as Brasil, Brasil, Flamenco: Gypsy Soul, Synth Britannia and many others. She directed The Battle for Britney: Fans, Cash and a Conservatorship for BBC TWO and since then has been working on a project of her own about musical memories. Her passion is to bring more female-centric stories in music to the screen.
